Strange Seed is a creature evolution game inspired by classics like E.V.O.: Search for Eden and the creature-building side of Spore. You start as a small, unusual blob known as the strange seed, born from a very mysterious tree. Although many other blobs exist in the world, your journey is far from ordinary.

The game is built around evolution, exploration, and combat. By defeating enemies, you collect their DNA and use it to unlock new body parts. You can then mix and match different parts to create your own creature and test countless combinations. With seven body slots and more than 40 creatures to discover, the game offers millions of possible builds. Choosing the right setup matters, since raw power alone is not enough if your creature cannot move efficiently or catch prey.

As you explore, you’ll travel through more than 10 different biomes, including forests, beaches, urban areas, and even the inside of a volcano. Each location has its own obstacles, and your creature may need to evolve in different ways to progress. If a path is too narrow, you can become smaller. If a ledge is too high, you can grow wings and fly. The world is packed with secrets to uncover.

Combat in Strange Seed can be dangerous, with enemies ranging from basic lizards to tough, Soulslike-style bosses. Winning depends not only on timing and skill, but also on how well your creature is built. Smart part combinations can make all the difference, and creative players may even find unusual ways to beat difficult fights.
